Help Key Changes Music Therapy increase their impact

Key Changes Logo

Project summary

Key Changes needs to update their processes, to respond to increased demand more efficiently and effectively.

How will this project benefit the organisation?

For the business to meet its full potential, we need to improve efficiency and effectiveness so we can respond well to increases in demand in volume and the diversity of our beneficiaries' needs. At the end of this project, success would look like having a clear path towards a more efficient organisation together with advice on good structure and change management.

Project description

Key Changes Music Therapy's mission is to provide a professional music therapy service across the community, working with clients, towards the alleviation of the emotional effects of mental illness, learning disability, social deprivation and developmental delay.

In order to obtain all the necessary information, the volunteer will need to have an initial meeting with Jim Squire, the chair of the trustees, and examine the paperwork on the current constitution, policy and processes. This will be followed by a short introduction to the volunteer and the project at an online Board meeting, then separate meetings with the four staff members and the four other trustees.

The volunteer will then be able to examine the current processes carefully and consider areas that could be cohered, improved, embellished or removed. After discussing these proposals with Jim (and Beccy – the lead therapy coordinator), the proposed improvements to processes can be presented to the Board.
