OR63: Robust Optimization

In recent years, we have witnessed significant developments in the theory of robust optimisation and its practice.

In particular, the distributionally robust framework has provided tractable formulations which have found applications in finance, revenue management, logistics and transportation, energy systems, and statistical learning.

This stream brings together researchers from around the world to discuss the state of the art developments in this field with an emphasis on applications.

We're now looking for OR professionals, data scientists, professors, researchers, analysts, engineers, etc., to present at this event. Submit your 300-word presentation summary on robust optimization by the now extended deadline of the 25th of June to join our expert OR63 speakers!

Share your robust optimization knowledge

We welcome talks on your robust optimisation

There are a number of classification criteria for robust optimization problems/models. We are looking for presentations looking at real-world examples of:

  • problems dealing with local and global models of robustness;
  • probabilistic and non-probabilistic models of robustness.

Submit your 300-word summary now to speak at our robust optimization stream.
