We are honoured to partner with The Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO) in 2025 for 34th European Conference on Operational Research in 2025.

EURO 2025 promises insightful presentations, stimulating discussions, and ample networking opportunities, all designed to inspire collaboration and growth in the field of Operational Research.

EURO is 50

EURO celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025. Created out of IFORS after a conference in Dublin in 1972, draft statutes were dated 29 June 1975.

EURO is best known for its conferences, the 33rd was held in July 2024 in Copenhagen and in 2025 the 50th anniversary will be celebrated in Leeds (EURO 2025), and its publication EJOR, the European Journal of Operational Research. The conferences attract some 2000 participants, and EJOR is the world’s largest OR journal, publishing some 650 papers each year. EURO has a further 4 publications.

There are several other strings to EURO’s bow. There are 33 working groups and 4 forums.  PhD schools and Summer/Winter Institutes have had a significant impact on many careers.   Amongst various prizes and awards are the Gold Medal, for an outstanding contribution to OR, and Distinguished Service Award, in recognition of distinguished service to EURO and the profession of OR.

EURO certainly has a lot to celebrate.

Making An Impact

The Making an Impact stream at Euro Leeds 2025 is built by practitioners for practitioners: to inspire and support people working at the implementation end of Operational Research, Analytics and Data Science.  The discussions, workshops and case studies focus on work that solves real problems and delivers observable outcomes - and the ways we can tackle the practical, messy challenges of making it happen.  It's a practical space to share what works, learn from others, extend your skills and build your network.

Last date for registration: 25th May 2025
