The Academy for the Mathematical Sciences has announced that they are recruiting for its Chief Executive

The Academy for the Mathematical Sciences has launched the recruitment process for its Chief Executive. This key role will guide the Academy as it evolves into a fully operational National Academy.

 

The Academy aims to be a leading voice in the mathematical sciences, collaborating with various stakeholders in education, research and industry. It seeks to advance the field and highlight its society benefits across the UK. The UK Government has pledged up to £6 million in seed funding, and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology is current assessing which organisation will lead the National Academy for Mathematical Sciences. The Academy has applied and is awaiting the decision, expected post-General Election.
