Come to Algeria in November for AFROS’ triennial conference!

AFROS was founded in 2016 to create a regional OR Society in Africa like those societies in the other four continents. It now has member societies and working groups across many countries in Africa. (See website https://afrosocieties.org).  It holds conferences every 3 years and this year's the conference will be held at the University of Tlemcen, Algeria from November 3^rd to November 5^th 2024. Previous conferences include AFROS 2018, held in Tunis, Tunisia, and AFROS 2021, in the Vaal Triangle, South Africa. AFROS 2024 will be a hybrid of ‘in person’ and ‘online’ participation (given the difficulties of travel from some African countries).

Delegates from around the world are also most welcome to attend. AFROS 2024 includes plenary talks by world-renowned speakers, as well as presentations of high-quality research papers. It aims to bring together researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments and advancements in Operational Research and related fields.

Registered, accepted, and presented papers will be published by IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Extended versions of selected papers presented at the AFROS 2024 conference will be evaluated for potential publication in journals (RAIRO-Operations Research and Journal of Simulation) with special issues.

The closing date for papers submission is July 20, 2024.
